LEVITRA SIDE EFFECTS

The side effects of Levitra can be categorized from mild to moderate but in rare cases people have experienced some serious side effects too; in such cases one should seek immediate medical attention.

• During your sexual activity after taking Levitra, if you experience pain, tingling or numbness in your chest, neck, arms or jaw, stop all your activities then and there and call your doctor.
• After taking Levitra, if you get swelling on your face, tongue, lips or feel breathless and itchiness, take immediate medical attention.

You must stop taking Levitra and seek immediate medical attention if the following serious side effects of Levitra occur:

• Closing of the throat
• Irregular heartbeats
• Swelling of the ankles or legs
• Breathing problem
• Prolonged or severe dizziness
• Fainting
• Priapism, a prolonged (lasting longer than 4 hours) or painful erection;
• Nausea
• Back pain

There are some less serious side effects; with occurrence you should inform your doctor about these too;

• Flushing
• Mild dizziness
• Headache
• Nasal congestion
• Stomach upset
• Sensitivity of the eyes to light
• Temporary blue tint in vision or other vision abnormalities

In rare cases people who have used PDE5 inhibitors like Levitra, have experienced a sudden loss of vision which can be temporary as well as permanent although the main reason behind it has still not been explored. It is not confirmed whether the medicine is responsible for vision loss or not.

There may also be some other unusual side effects that may occur to you. Talk to your doctor if you feel they are bothersome.
