Erectile Dysfunction Drug Levitra Is Soon To Be Sold And Marketed As An Orodispersable Tablet

According to a latest revelation, Levitra, the medicine for treating erectile dysfunction in men, will soon be available as an orodispersable tablet in the market which would further make it comparatively faster and more effective. However, regarding the orodispersable tablet form of Levitra, it is known that this Levitra tablet can be administered without water and is likely to get dissolved within few seconds. By taking orodispersable Levitra tablet stealthily, men would also be able to enjoy the sexual foreplay.

Sources reveal that Bayer, the company that has manufactured the anti-impotence drug Levitra, has already placed an application to the European Union medical authorities asking for permission to sell and market Levitra as an orodispersible tablet that contains 10 mg of vadenafil, the active component of Levitra.

Dr Jean-Philippe Milon, head of Bayer Schering Pharma`s business unit makes it apparent that in two autonomous clinical Phase III experiments, the safety as well as efficacy of 10 mg orodispersible Levitra tablets was verified and it became evident that in both studies, the results were similar to the results obtained from the regular 10 mg Levitra tablets.

Further according to Bayer, the availability of the anti-impotence drug Levitra as an orodispersible tablet would be the first instance of an erectile dysfunction medicine being presented as an orodispersible tablet. Moreover, the company has emphasized that the new Levitra tablets can be easily used and also that they function in a faster mode than the regular Levitra tablets.
